Vegan CHEESE Sauce WITHOUT Nuts

INGREDIENTS

2 cups chickpeas (plus about 2-3 TBL of aquafaba) 1/2 cup nutritional yeast 1/6 cup lemon juice or apple cicer vinegar 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 3 TBL tapioca starch (or + 1-2 TBL more if looking for a thicker texture) 2 TBL miso paste 3/4 cup broth (low sodium broth or water for WFPB)

INSTRUCTIONS Blend all ingredients together until smooth and heat the sauce on medium until it thickens. Enjoy!
