2 High Protein PESTOS - Nut Free & Oil Free

 INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup tightly packed fresh basil leaves (pack it in!)
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 15-oz can navy/cannellini beans (1.5 cups)
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp nutritional yeast 
  • 2-3 tbsp fresh lemon juice (1/2 lemon) 
  • 1/2-3/4 tsp sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. - Add garlic clove to processor and process until finely chopped.
  2. - Add in the rest of the ingredients to taste and process until smooth, scraping down the bowl as necessary.

4 oz fresh basil 1 avocado ¼ cup pumpkin seeds 2 cloves garlic 4 tbsp certified organic nutritional yeast 1 tsp sea salt ( or to your taste) ½ lemon juiced Water to consistency


INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all the ingredients in a food processor and blend until smooth.

Add small amounts of water to adjust consistency.
