Homemade Chocolate

This recipe will help you realize that high-quality chocolate and cacao are, in fact, a fantastic, healthy addition to your diet. Have Fun as you Gather2Nourish in the kitchen! :) :)

Ingredients (use organic where possible)

- 100g cacao butter, melted
- ½ cup cacao powder
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- Pinch of salt
- Essential oils* for flavor (we love peppermint)
- Dried fruits (optional)
- Cashews (optional)
- Dried coconut (optional)

Directions

1. Have your chocolate mold dry and ready to use.
2. Melt the cacao butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
3. When melted, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in all the ingredients (except the optional ones).
4. Mix until well combined.
5. Stir in any doTERRA essential oils to your liking.
6. Spoon the mixture into the trays and top with the optional dried fruits, cashews, dried banana, and dried coconut.
7. Fridge until set and then pop them out.

Esta receita vai ajudar a perceber que o chocolate e o cacau de alta qualidade são, na verdade, uma adição fantástica e saudável à nossa dieta. Divirta-se enquanto se alimenta com saúde na cozinha! :) :)

Ingredientes (use biologicos sempre que possível):

  • 100g de manteiga de cacau, derretida
  • ½ copo de cacau em pó
  • ¼ copo de xarope de maple
  • Pitada de sal
  • Óleos essenciais doTERRA* para sabor (adoramos hortelã-pimenta)
  • Frutas secas (opcional)
  • Caju (opcional)
  • Coco seco (opcional)

Modo de preparo:

  1. Forma de chocolate pronta para usar.
  2. Derreta a manteiga de cacau em uma panela pequena em lume baixo.
  3. Quando derretido, retire a panela do lume e adicione todos os ingredientes (exceto os opcionais).
  4. Misture bem até que tudo esteja combinado.
  5. Adicione os óleos essenciais doTERRA a gosto.
  6. Coloque a mistura nas formas e adicione as frutas secas, caju, banana seca e coco seco (opcional).
  7. Coloque no frigorifico até ficar firme e, em seguida, retire da forma.

Nourishing Protein Rich Hot Cocoa

This recipe we developed has become a family favorite! Specially in the evening...
Hope you Gather2Nourish and Enjoy this creamy delight!



INGREDIENTS (organic if possible)
1.5 cups of hot water
2 tbsp Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds
2 tbsp Hemp Seeds
3 pitted Medjool Dates
1.5 tbsp Cacao Powder
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1-2 drops Peppermint Essential Oil**


INSTRUCTIONS
Double the recipe if necessary.
Blend all ingredients until smooth, in a high speed blender with exception of the essential oil. Taste it and adjust taste if necessary, adding the essential oil and blend it for a few seconds only. Enjoy!

1/4 colher de chá de canela
1-2 gotas de Óleo Essencial de Hortelã-pimenta**

INSTRUÇÕES
Dobre a receita, se necessário.
Bata todos os ingredientes até ficar suave, num liquidificador de alta velocidade, excepto o óleo essencial. Prove e ajuste o sabor se necessário, adicionando o óleo essencial e bata por apenas alguns segundos mais. Desfrute!

HABIT - Oil Pulling

 Here are a few of Dr. Eric Zielinski favorite ways to use essential oils during his morning oil pulling routine:

  • Add 1 drop each of cloveorangelemon, and peppermint with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
  • If you’re battling an infection or something, I would change it up and mix clove with oregano and tea tree.
  • Oils from herbs such as cilantro, basil, and thyme are also very pleasant. 

To help detox and keep your smile bright and shining, mix EO with unrefined, organic coconut oil. Here are some tips from Dr. Eric Zielinski:

  • Like most other detoxification procedures, the best time to oil pull is first thing in the morning right after you get out of bed.
  • All you do is swish between 1 – 2 tablespoons of coconut or sesame oil in your mouth for 20 minutes. Easy peasy!
  • Don’t worry, you won’t even notice 20 minutes have gone by if you do this during your normal morning routine (i.e. while you shower, put your clothes on and prep for the day).
  • Immediately afterwards, rinse your mouth out with warm water. Use salt water for added antimicrobial properties.
  • Be sure NOT to swallow the oil.
  • And don’t spit out the oil in the sink, because it WILL coagulate and clog your drains!
  • Don’t be shocked if the oil/saliva mixture you spit out is milky white or yellow.
  • Finally, brush your teeth as normal.
  • I recommend oil pulling 3-4x per week.

Bedtime Turmeric Tea

Sipping on a warming turmeric mixture in the evening can help settle your digestive system, calm the nervous system, and prepare you for a restful sleep.

Ingredients

  •  1 tsp ground turmeric
  •  1 tsp raw honey
  •  Pinch of ground black pepper
  •  Pinch of ground cinnamon
  •  1 cup (8 oz/ 250 ml) unsweetened plant-based milk of choice (coconut, hemp, almond, rice)

Method

  1.  Make a turmeric paste by mixing the turmeric, honey, cinnamon & black pepper together with a tiny bit of hot water.
  2.  Heat the milk in a saucepan.
  3.  Stir through the turmeric paste.
  4.  Serve in a glass or mug and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
